Mary Woozer – chronic pain sufferer
“I first met Sara five years ago when she successfully treated a stiff/painful neck and shoulder problem for me.
“Following this I was keen to know if she thought further sessions might be able to address other muscle weaknesses and imbalances that were beginning to creep up on me.
“At the age of eight I suffered with a neurological condition called Guillaine-Barre Syndrome. After an initial hospitalisation (to deal with the breathing and quadriplegic symptoms) and rehabilitation I just got on with life and had no specific intervention for well over forty years.
“Attempts at keep-fit, Pilates, Yoga and swimming classes had produced variable results and, at 55, I came to the conclusion I needed something more individually tailored to my needs. Sara wasn’t surprised by this scenario and agreed to try a whole range of cross-disciplinary skills to see what might be possible. Thankfully she has a wealth of knowledge and practical skills to draw on. I supplement Sara’s one-to-one sessions with exercises I can work on in my own time and to date I have seen progress beyond my wildest dreams!
“I’ve nothing but praise for Sara’s consummate professionalism, her kindness and for the generosity of spirit with which she delivers her skills.”
